As a pioneering force in the aviation industry, we are thrilled to announce that we have been approved by AESA (Agencia Española de Seguridad Aérea) to conduct our PPL (Private Pilot License) course with an electric aircraft. This monumental milestone makes us the first pilot school in Spain to achieve this feat. Our newly-approved course not only teaches you the fundamentals of flying, but it’s also designed around the unique characteristics of electric aviation. This course focuses on key areas including safe battery management, time and distribution modifications, and security systems. With collaborative safety studies conducted with AENA LELL and Sabadell Skyway, we ensure the same level of security required for traditional piston planes.

Introducing the Velis Electro, the first electric aircraft in Spain, certified by the European Union Aviation Safety Agency (EASA). This technological marvel from the Slovenian manufacturer Pipistrel is not just a new addition to our fleet, it represents a radical shift in sustainable aviation.

This 2-seater electric aircraft, designed for pilot training, revolutionizes the flying experience. The Velis Electro has a flight time of almost 60 minutes, and a recharge time of just 30 minutes. It’s the dawn of a new era with quieter flights, zero carbon emissions, and drastically reduced use of fossil fuels.

Unmatched Performance

The Velis Electro is a two-seater, fully electric aircraft, specifically designed for initial pilot training. It features the Pipistrel E-81 EASA TC Engine, providing a powerful 76 kW. This efficient and capable powertrain ensures smooth and controlled flights, perfect for honing your piloting skills.

Design and Aerodynamics

With a wingspan of 10.71m and a length of 9.8m, the Velis Electro maintains a sleek and streamlined form. Its height of 2.8m and wing area of 12.04 m² allow for optimal aerodynamics, ensuring each flight is smooth and efficient.

Payload and Performance

Despite its relatively compact form, the Velis Electro doesn’t compromise on capacity. With an empty weight (including batteries) of 428 kg, it supports a maximum take-off weight of 600 kg and payload of 172 kg.

Unparalleled Flight Capabilities

Equipped with a fixed-pitch composite three-blade propeller (Pipistrel -812-164-F3A EASA TC), the Velis Electro delivers stellar flight performance. It has a cruising speed of 90-98 KCAS at 35 kW, with a maximum speed of 108 KCAS. With its best climb speed, you can quickly ascend to the service ceiling.
