Barcelona Flight School (BFS) Elevates Partnership with Airline Pilot Club (APC) to Highest Membership Level, Paving the Way for Enhanced Recruitment and Sustainable Aviation
The Flight Instructor (FI) course is the first and easier way to add flight experience to your logbook before applying to an Airline.
Flight instruction can be an entry job into aviation, looking for transition to the airlines, or become a long-term job if your vocation is Aviation training.
As a Flight Instructor, you will build in short time a big amount of experience in your logbook, saving you a lot of money.
After having completed the required training, the Flight Instructor Rating will allow you to act as a Flight Instructor, teaching Groundschool and providing Flight training to other students.
Taking a job of Flight Instructor at a Flight School is one of the best ways possible to build hours while training other pilots, and consolidate your flying skills in an entry job into aviation that will, at the same time, allow you to stay connected to the Airline Pilot job market.
The course is composed of 125 hours of ground school where the student works on subjects like learning processes, pedagogy, instructional techniques and teaching processes in order to transmit the knowledge of aeronautics, both in theory and in practice, maintaining a the required safety standards and regulations for the different learning processes.
The phase of flight consist of at least 25 hours of flight taking place in four phases:
The course takes place in the first, third and fourth stage in a basic single-engine airplane and in its second phase in an aerobatic aircraft.
Once finalized the theoretical and practical course a skill test for obtaining the Airplane flight instructor license must be done.
The approximate duration of the course is 9 weeks, allowing the student to complete the ground school and flight training simultaneously. The course schedule will be established based on at least 3 students enrolled per course.
